Gabriel Perez is the child of two Broadway dancers. He cannot dance, and he spent a lot of his life trying to avoid the stage. But here he is, running Flip Flops Comedy Club. He designed this website.

His comedy is dark, observational, and driven by characters and act-outs. Friends say he reminds them of a serial killer. He kind of sees it. He started stand-up at 30. His first gig was hosting for comedian Bob Marley. Before comedy, he lost 80 pounds, backpacked through Europe and Asia, and opened Maine’s first destroy room. It didn’t work out.
